Suggestions
effective 11/15/07
- Daily mouthpiece cleaning using the
mouthpiece brush.
- Weekly leadpipe cleaning with the
cleaning snake.
- Bi-weekly valve cleaning, wiping and
re-oiling the valves. (read these instructions)
- Bi weekly slide cleaning, wipe, and
re-oil.
- Monthly (complete) instrument
disassembly and cleaning using lemon dish detergent,
cleaning snake, and valve brush.
- Consult the maintenance article for further instructions.
- Monthly maintenance checks will be
performed at the beginning of the first lesson of the
month.
- Poorly maintained instruments hinder
progress and are unacceptable.
