Lesson Payment Policy
and Requirements
effective 8/20/06
- The private lesson rate for North Bay
Trumpet Studio is $30 for 30 min.; $40 for 45 min.; $50
for 60 min.
- Payments (for regularly scheduled
weekly lessons) are required on a monthly tuition basis
in advance of the first lesson of the month.
- An invoice may be emailed or sent via
USPS monthly.
- The student may mail tuition or pay in
person as follows:
- During the regular school year (Sept.
1 through June 1) Tuition for one month of weekly lessons
is due at the last lesson of the preceding month (prior
to the 1st lesson of the new month).
- Multi-month tuition payments (2 or
more months in advance) are eligible for a $10 discount.
- Tuition payments made 2 weeks before
the first lesson of the month are eligible for a $5
"early bird" discount.
- Tuition payments made prior to the
first lesson of the month are eligible for a $5 cash
discount.
- Tuition payments made at the first
lesson of the month are paid in full.
- Tuition payment made after the first
lesson of the month is subject to a $10 late fee.
- The late fee is compounded weekly.
- A revised invoice may be emailed or
sent USPS with a late tuition reminder, the amount due
and the late fee.
- The number of lessons per month may
vary depending on the physical calendar, holidays listed,
and teacher travel or performance schedule.
- Please check your invoice prior to
writing the new month's tuition check in order to avoid
over or underpayment.
- No payment is expected when the
teacher is not in attendance due to performance schedule
or illness.
- Credit will be given for prepaid
lessons if the instructor is ill or must leave town due
to an unscheduled performance.
- A student wishing to discontinue
private study must give 30 days notice.
- A notice of discontinuation should be
given when payment is made (as described above) for the
final month of study.
- Payment is due and payable at the
beginning of the lesson (upon entering the studio) in
order to avoid confusion.
- The student may place a payment in an
envelope under the door of studio #10. (The studio is a
private and exclusive room.)
- No post-dated checks are permitted. No
exceptions.
- There is an automatic $30 fee (in
addition to the amount due) for all returned or bounced
checks. No exceptions.
- Lessons take place in Santa Rosa, CA
at Stanroy Music Center (741 Fourth st.)-private studio
#10 (upstairs).
- Checks should be made out to North Bay
Trumpet Studio.

Parents and students must read and
consent to these guidelines as a condition of study at North Bay
Trumpet Studio.
